Hey im new to the forum and just recently bought an e30 to get into them. i just bought a 1990 2 door 5 speed. the timing belt snapped on the dude and destroyed the head. luckily my friend who is ReSoP on this site i believe has a rebuilt head and all the parts need to fix that he wont be using due to his last minute m50 swap. ive been reading about e30s for a while and know a little not much. now the pictures of the beater.

bought the car for 500 bucks





fender damage, luckily the guy gave me one to replace that one.

yeah so needs some work, mainly just needs seats and a good carpet and dash clean as you could tell the interior is terrible and im pretty sure the dude lived in it.

haha yeah i know i think the dude didnt understand that there are no cup holders and hit something and soda went everywhere its splattered lightly on the headliner, sun visors, seats, dash, buttons, steering wheel, and carpet.

shouldnt be to much of a deal it looks way worse than it is, the dude just was lazy i guess and didnt want to clean out his shit before he sold it

im pretty much going to try to transform it into a daily maybe just small stuff like a chip. i'm going to try to get the body decent looking and definitely fix the interior.

whats going on with it now is we already took off the head and need to replace the timing belt and put on the rebuilt head and that should be it.
ill probably start a build thread later this week, and ill probably make one for ReSoP too hes doing the m50 swap with his way cleaner e30
