No, he needs to remove the door impact strips. We tried (I) for quite some time to talk him into taking it to a paint shop to have that sprayed.

I think painting the bumpers will be much easier/cost effective then removing the impact strips then having to weld/sand/repaint the entire car!

Don't worry, a buddy of mine's dad just built a paint booth at his house. Repainting the front (and straightening) and the rear are going to happen once it warms up a bit.

Car is going from 215/40/17s, to BFG KDW NT 235/40/17, or Direzza Star Specs in 235/40/17.

Polak, I like hyper black suggestion, just don't know to get that pulled off. And I am going to follow the other suggestions, just been to lazy to do it so far.

You may be able to get them powder coated close to that finish, or at least do silver with a gunmetal flake. My buddy did that on his s2k wheels and it looks fucking titts!

No chrome, but I had thought about having them polished. Not sure that would go with Bronzit though, might be a bit too bling for me anyway. And a pain to keep clean.
