Hi everybody!
I'm pretty new on this forum. I just bough myseft a great toy that needs a lot of love. Still not sure of what I will exactly end up with, but it should be interesting!
It will be my summer/track car. (We have a lot of snow in Quebec...)
The guy had built this for track purpose but he never finished the project. A bit too hardcore for me. (no heater, no windshield washer, no door seal... etc)
The Body is a 325es and was repainted in 2003 I think. The car still look "clean", but there was a lot of rust hole that were filled with welded plates mainly on the floor, trunk, firewall. I don't really like repainted body, but I didn't bough the car for its body!
Here is the fun part: MODS!
motor M3 1995
tranny M3 5 speed
flywheel UUC stage2
clucht m5
Stainless steel clutch lines UUC
motor mount serie 5
strut bar racing dynamic
short shift UUC evo3
UUC dssr costum
DIFF 3.73 3clutch race spec diffsonline
CHIP custom
tree house conversion m50
525 oil pan
E36 radiator
big six fuel pump
3 INCH exhaust pipe
suspension bilstein hd
coil spring apex
rear subframe strut bar
Big rear sway bar (Still don't know the size yet)
All new brake lines
New calipers oem
performance friction pad pf180
Brand new wheel: Keskin KT1 17x10 and 17x8.5
35mm spacers
Tire toyo RA1 255/40/17 and 235/45/17
TMS solid subframe bushing (Not installed)
solid diff bushing TMS
The car has a lot of problem to fix before it will actually roll...
Step 1: Get the car waterproof
- fix the sunroof DONE
- fix the power window (jammed in opened position) DONE
- Need a new fuse box FIXED
- Add some door seels DONE
Step 2: Get the main electric stuff working
- Headlight IN PROGRESS
- trun signal IN PROGRESS
- windshied washer DONE
- sunroof CANCELLED
- windows IN PROGRESS
- Sort all the wires under the dash IN PROGRESS
Step 3: Fender must fit the wheels
- Mold a "universal wide fender kit" (bimmershop.ca)
note: I'm not sure about that, but the fender are already cut...
Question:
Does 10" wide wheel fit on the rear without spacer?
Does 8.5" wide wheel fit on the front without spacer?
Step 4: Interior "restoration"
- Don't know what I will do...
I also don't know In which step the heater and venting system will installed...

As you can see: WIDE WHEELS!

NEED A FENDER JOB!

Need to clean this!

I will get the car at the end of march... It will be a long wait!
Please comment and/or give me some tips!
Should be a long Project...!
