Thanks for the comments :) love the car myself....stunned by the old I6 engine, has so much character. The only BMW I´d had before this one was an E39 M5 which of course is a very mean car, an absolute powerhouse but I like the E30 sooo much better. Current plans are re-spray where needed and getting rid of small dents ( 4 in all ), wheels are on the list along with H&R Anti-Roll bars. Powerflex awaits installation and at some point new rear-shocks will be bought. Valve adjusting to be done within the next 2 weeks along with changing every possible hose in the engine-cooling system ( already bought ). Last week I opened up the dash and changed every bulb I could get my fatty fingers on, HATE dead bulbs and all those tiny little things that annoy the eyes. I need to find someone who has a decent digital cam to record a short video with sound, better sound-quality than offered in my mobile anyway :)

I think they all suffer from the same disability :D I stopped the map reading nonsense long time ago and bought navigation, now we have no fights :D

I love how Europeans park on the sidewalk, very smart idea !

The darkened area on the tail lights looks very fitting, I think.

    started a topic 1988 325i Touring

    1988 325i Touring

New here....so a small intro is in order. Originally from Iceland but living in Denmark due to my aircraft engineer education. End of small intro.

Bought my car in Germany in october 2008 and drove it back to Denmark, took around 15 hours since my girlfriends map-reading-skills are limited. Car runs great and haven´t had a single problem since purchased. All bills and receipts came with the car...even the original salespapers along with original birth-certificate.
The car has electric windows and mirrors, sunroof modded to electric, Nokia in-car phone :p (never used), sport seats and lots of other nice things. Driver´s seat is not too good but have the right material to get it fixed, already spoken to an upholstery guy that will fix the seat when funds arrive. Eisenmann E39 rear silencer which sounds fantastic, K&N homemade intake "kit" that will soon be replaced, MHW brakelights and Hella Dark headlights and going for dark foglights as well. Full grown stereo from previous owner which satisfies my needs quite well stiffer suspension, Z3 short-shifter and 3.73 LSD make this car a blast to drive....will post video sooner rather than later. Now a few pics.......

Working...
