no shit...car looks good the way it is. only thing i would do is paint/tuck the bumpers. looks like a nice car for a daily driver. if its not daily, lower it on some h&r sports. keep it stock and clean. as ive said before diving board models are getting rarer so keep it the way it is. in 5 years youll have one of the few db cars around.

Nice daily! Doesn't necessarily need any more done to it if that's the way you want to keep it, since it is you DD.

Its not my dd. I don't know I really like the plastic bumpers. Im from mosbach Germany and my uncle had a 89 318 turbo I belive it was an mt2. Thats the car that got me into e30s. In the time I lived in germany I don't remember seeing db e30s. Is that something dot required state side? And if db are getting rare ill keep em in the shop till they are. Don't get me wrong I really have respect for a clean stock bmw.Comment

Heh, nah they're not rare. DOT required them to be installed on US cars from the days of the '74 2002 until the '88 E30's and E28's. This explains why you never saw them in the Motherland.- Trey

Thats my Friends car its a 96 with a full 07 tr swap and 08 sti turbo. 310whp and 300 torqe tuned by PIA in tacoma. 700 miles on the motor not bad for a 5g parts car.Comment

DB's were created to appease United States DOT regulations. And honestly, however rare they might get I think it'll only be a few people that would look at them as valuable. If you want you can keep them but I don't think it's personally worth it to have them taking up space.
edit.. too late again. damn.sigpic89 M3Comment

But does your mph work?? if not pull the cluster out and then look on the prongs and is it there broken or corroded. and then look at the pulg that goes into the back of the cluster and see if there are no missing pins. If they are all good they look at the fuse.Comment
