ADDED MORE PICS
I took CMT's advice and used the Poorboys EX-P Sealant / Clear Kote Vanilla Moose Wax method on my old 87 325e. I did this exterior detail about two weeks ago all by hand because I don't own a porter cable yet. I spent about 4+ hours detailing, and it came out pretty damn good. For a bronzit, the reflection is awesome. I'm hoping to get some time to my hands this weekend to test the same procedure on my mothers navy blue minivan, and achieve some DEEP paint results.. Right before I took the pictures today, I applied some Megs QD to get the daily grime off.
The paint is about two years old (repaint). And it has seen some wear (chipping). The hood chipping is a result of letting the sister drive the car and having the car returned in a wrecked state. The front driverside fender is a little off in the pictures because it was replaced due to the wreck.
My new sidemarker comes in tomorrow, as well as some e36 window switches for the interior. Also hope to order a set of Ronal LS wheels tomorrow (but probably not, because I'm $240 short HELP ME OUT).. Hopefully I'm going to be able to pick up a set of smileys for a nice price, too. Still looking for some suspension, because it seems Jarvis fell off the face of the planet.
