hello r3vland, i decided i should finally make an account since i actually have an e30 now. here are the specs : 1991 318i, Alpine White II, four door, standard trans. its only had 3 owners besides me, the original was a young women in the Canadian Air Force stationed in Germany, she imported it in 91' and blah blah blah now its mine. i got most of the paperwork such as records and services performed. i was holding out for a nice coupe but this was too good of a deal to pass up on. this is my first e30 but i have been silently soaking up all the greasy e30 information that i could from this forum for months now.

hey a fellow m42 owner i have a quick question, as far as the timing chain goes on this engine should i worry about it as much as the m20 t-belt? i'd go on m42club but they dont seem very active.

nope it has the m42 engine and a LSD if im not mistaken.

and RedHoodRidah what do you know about the timing chain on this car? i might have to replace mine or re install it since i think the PO did it wrong

im pretty sure the car on craigslist for like 500 had a blown head or something. its not that one
