So the USPS man dropped off the seat brackets that Mr. Josh Anderson made for me (same as the ones on his Recaro thread).
These new seats, along with the steering wheel spacer I added to the car, made for the most perfect seating position ever. Shifting is great, steering wheel is on point and effortless. It's a 350mm wheel and I see all the gauges, I am not sitting on the floor so I can still see past the dash. Literally perfect!!
Just sitting in this car is sheer joy now.
Next step will hopefully be an ebrake boot and start collection black interior pieces. Maybe in a few months to come I can get some new bolsters and reupholster these seats in black, but for now, they'll do just fine and dandy!
Seriously.... ever since I nailed down my perfect seating position for the turbo car, seating position suddenly became the #1 priority in my car. If I'm not comfortable driving the car, it's already a lot less fun to be driving it.
I'm ready to drive all the way to the west coast now, no problem! :D I'll take more pictures in the daylight after I clean up the interior.
