    Turbi-- teile II

so, I ordered the new control arms, and tried a different set of 18" wheels out. kinda thinking it has a "donk" theme going on.

it has 255s on it now(m/s)seems to be quite a bit of room. I have a set of 285s from a M8/ 850CSi that I replaced last year-- going to see if they will fit under there. am going to get some really small ricer cheapos for the front. even with the new control arms it still rubs with the 225/40/18s on it.
took some pics so you all can see the difference -- if you want --of the 2 arms.-- maybe i am just going to ebay the 18s and look for some of the DSIIs or whatever the wheels are called that were on ilduce's car back in the days.-- no idea-- I am just tired of putting money into this thing when i should be restoring my other car right now.
    so, pics.

BTW-- they are on back order-- but i gotz the connections!!

TOO BIG, those wheels. But I like the style... maybe if she was lower.

DUDE!! When are you bringing that thing to Atlanta (home of the donk)? She'll fit right in..

Actually, with a lip on it, Turbi will be pretty mean..

your height is fine if you don't want to be rubbing on the front. i run 225/35-17's on the front and that is the only way i can drive hard on full lock (drifting) anything bigger and i rub. spacer's make the rubbing worse at full lock (hits the back of the tire). for HPDE's i run 325/45-17 slicks but there is never a need to hit full lock unless you're oversteering in which case you are going to spin out from locking up whatever tire that rubs on the frame. anyways,

like the rims a lot, i want to hear about the 285's on the back...now, there's no point on having them if you're going to put cheap tires on the front... its like having a really big dick, but not even viagra can get it up.
          No more e30s for me.

Very clean look, I didn't think that those wheels would look good on e30, but they are stunning.

Nice car, but those wheels don't fit at all. I've never been a fan of late model wheels for our cars. That's just me though, do what you gotta do.

The car is beautiful! I like the style of the wheels, but they're just too big IMO. I really like the all-red tails with shaved badge look too.

Are those wheels from an e46 ZHP? They look really slick on the e30. Also, for what it's worth I think the wheel size is fine.

WOw those wheels make the car look so short! In terms of 18" wheels, you couldnt have picked better ones and I think it looks as good as 18's can look, but yeah I think they look too big. Still the car looks very good. But I know we have different styles and youre going for a different look so bleh. :) Hows the ride?

17s are my fave on e30s, but 18s are pushing it...especially those.
