Any updates with the car? Did you find a new shell? Repair any of the damage? You kind of dropped off the forums for a while.

Hey Scott, how's the interior looking by the way? Post pictures!

I am graduating in two weeks with my BA. I bought a brilliantrot 318iS slicktop a couple months ago, only to have it placed on jackstands due to the timing chain guide rails shattering on me. It also needs a lot of bodywork, so I don't have much progress to document and share.

I am planning to either sell the diamantschwarz car outright due to manpower needed to transfer everything, or do some work and swap out parts. If anyone is out there in the area who wants to help me on a weekend swap the suspension and exhaust please let me know.

Interior is about done however, car is not registered and in storage until I can get some needed parts replaced. I would be glad to come down and help on a weekend. Let me know a weekend you plan on working on it and I will mark my calendar.
