Uhhh, no. Repair estimates ranged from $3500 to $4500. So, the car is "totalled". Actually, aside from the damage you see there, it drives same as before. A real shame.
I am considering stripping it and making a track car. My daughter has mentioned it being her car in a couple years, so that is an option too. I am keeping it either way.

So, I have another E30 picked out, and the deal is all but consumated. Should happen next Saturday. I am really looking forward to it, and of course some pics will ensue. Lots of plans for it, can't wait to get started.
