this has been an on and off thing for about 3 years, and it's finally just about finished.
the pan is a 71 standard beetle, shortened 14 and 1/2", fully stripped and powdercoated. link pin front beam is narrowed 4" and adjustable, with drop spindles. rear is IRS. disc brakes all around, hydraulic clutch.
balanced and blueprinted 1776cc w/dual webers. it should be sitting a bit lower any day now.
there's a few more things to wrap up, but here's some shitty pics for now.
it'll have a windshield and stainless rollbar in it by mid-week. interior by mid april, and wheels and tires around the same time. that should do it.
oh, and yeah.. i know the front bumper sucks. it's not staying. we're making a better one for sure.
