Front lip for $12

I mixed this thread up with another cheap lip thread and said it looks good (deleted post). Dam was i off, put in a little more effort when mounting it or don't run anything at all.

well i can't say i didn't expect that reaction, since all of you are apparently feeling as if you are giant behind your computer monitors... fucking bunch of asshole trolls.
anyway. this was an experiment that i've seen on some wrx's before, so i thought i'd give it a shot on the e30. i am well aware of the damage to the car and the need to address a few physical issues, and wheels are in motion to get those taken care of. i've only had the car for 3 days, so cut me some slack.

i mean, i guess i could follow the exact mod paths and only do exactly the same things all of you have done to your cars...
fuck me for trying something different, i'll never do it again.

hey, i said sorry at the end of my post. and besides, you asked for everyone's opinion. i am not hiding behind my monitor. if you asked me in person, "how does this look?" i would say the same thing: "your $12 is better spent on a volvo lip because that looks terrible".

Agreed. In person you would have been given the same reactions and it would hurt your sensitive feelings more. Someone saying it to your face and giving a slight chuckle at the epic quality of a garage door strip on the front of your e30 seems like it would be a rough thing for you to accept. Suck up your ego, take pride in your car, take it off, re-do it so its not all ripply and try us again.

Don't worry the bumper is getting fixed hopefully early this week, and I'm going to pick up a volvo lip from a local yard (I had no idea they were so cheap).

Besides, the garage liner has already fallen off 90% anyway, haha.

What did you guys do for mounting the lip in the middle?
Its kind of a bitch to get any screws in due to the cooling module mounted like a quarter inch above where the bumper ends.
Any suggestions as to what you guys did?
