    Project Dirt Delete

Well, if anybody has seen Jordan's cars(Jordan Cascio that is) it's been a mess...mostly cause he never, EVER, washes it.

Here's some shots of a small detail job we did on it.

BTW, Pictures do not do any justice to how much different the paint is, paint was almost tan / 'mother of pearl' when he first pulled in. :D

    Before:

    After:

    Procedure:
-Handwash(Duragloss soap) ...Strips wax, like there was any on there
-3M Adhesive/Tar remover all over the car ....Strips the dirt, tar, etc the wash didn't take out
-Clay bar(Griot's Garage clay) ...Strips what the Adhesive Remover couldn't get, and leaves the surface seriously smooth
-Cleaner Wax(3M/Meguiars Cleaner Wax) ...Strips oxidation and spots of any kind, leaves it much, much shinier.
-Rubbing Compound(3M Rubbing Compound) ...Still thought I could get more of a shine after using the Cleaner wax
-Wax(Zaino Z2/Meguiars NXT) ...Did what wax usually does, fill in extremely small hairlines and protects the surface, etc, etc.

Along with this, Bokes' car also got a badgeless job and sprayed the trunklid lip black.

He'll tell you the rest, car looks much, much better than before.

Where did you get most of your supplies? I've been really eager to try that combo out on my paint.

What'd you shoot the spoiler with?

All those questions mean that's one freakishly clean car.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

for the spoiler, use steel wool and rough up your spoiler (make sure to take the spoiler off first), then you dont have to but i sanded it also. then use 3M bumper/trim paint and spray it. works great and is really easy.

I like the idea behind the painted spoiler, but how did it get so messed up?
