Honestly, I'm just building it because I like building stuff. Once I what it's manners are like, I'll decide where I want to take the car. It's probably going to be a fast cruiser, weekend warrior...
Once you get the car done you'll realize you need to buy a real suspension.
Whats the point of this build anyways? I see the best of everything all over the place, but for what? Trying to race this thing? Or make it a show car? Or just bored?
Honest question. Not trying to be a dick this time. Or was this already covered?

Hey, I think I'm doing pretty good. I got my carpet samples for my custom floor mats... they're going to be fucking rad... I picked this material:
It's even rubber backed! I'm going to cut it to shape, then take it to a local binder to have an edge put on it. It's going to be rad...
Here's what's left:
Modify rear cards to work with CF rears.
Install hood: this involves painting the hinge and roller parts
Hook up gauges: this is pretty straightforward and shouldn't take long
Mount front speakers: This will prove to be a pain, as I have to mount them up under the dash, somewhere, somehow
Make floormats: not too hard
Driveshaft: Still haven't moved much on this... I need to figure out if I'm going to have something scratch built or if I'm just going to have something welded on my existing universals...
Install seats and harnesses: easy
Mounting hardware for sideskirts, I think I am going to remove them and drill the body for the mounting, I don't think the double sided tape is going to cut it...
Oh newman, I love how you have turned all the haters into lovers. I still remember giving you crap for destroying the MT1 front when you first joined r3v. I myself, however, have seen the light of the true awesomeness that will be this car when it is completely done.
