I think it would look sick if you painted the intercooler endcaps either black or body color, but that's like bitching about Megan Fox's thumbs. In the end, it's such a small deal it doesn't matter. Sick build.

my only complaint is the intercooler sticking out like that. totally gives you away for having something special under the hood lol but that is probably hell of fun to drive. nice work

I think different, darker colored centers on the Works would look much better. The body color is too close to gold, and those magnificent wheels may get lost in the whole scheme of the car. I'd say do them metallic, burgundy or a dark metallic purple + gold bolts!!! :pimp:

Either way I'm very excited to hear this beast running, and see vids of it destroying asphalt! :D:D:D

This build is the shit. I think we are e-friends. So you should drive to the e30 picnic so we can be real life acquaintances. It will be fucking great. Because your build is fucking sick man. Last night we did the following:
compression and leakdown testing
tie wrap vacuum lines
remove headlight, smoke test intake system for boost leaks
remove compressor housing, seal, reinstall housing
fought with a PITA balance tube leak and won
oil change and filter inspection
replace non functioning wideband o2 sensor
diagnose MAP sensor wiring issues
fixed the wiring issues
start car and bleed coolant system
get car onto dyno and call it a night


Today we're going to:
wrap and secure the new wideband sensor cable like the old one so it doesn't melt on the header
smoke test the exhaust system for leaks
strap the car down and start partial throttle tuning

So stoked to see what final numbers it puts down. I hope you end somewhere in the 500whp on pump and 650 on race. Those would be perfect numbers.
