It's been awhile... But I've still got it :p

Checking brakes to make sure the fronts are the scraping ones

Yep looks like the fronts are dead (see mirror)

This is in a kragens parking lot by the way

So I head back to my college town and lay out some new goodies I picked up on the way.

      And heeere we go

Hmm this may have been the culprit (thanks textar pads for not making any noise until I was down to the backing plate)

Then I had a tie rod to do so I tackled that too, it was surprisingly easy, guess I've got a good method down.

Last shot with new tie rod installed.

I eyeballed the length pretty well and the alignment seems ok for now. I still have a little rattle from the steering column when I hit sharp bumps and stuff though, and the steering linkage seems sound, so I'm going to have to hunt that down. Altogether it was a good day though, front pads and a tie tod in about 2 hours.

Still amazed by your ability to just stop and work on your car wherever It sits. If you were local I would invite you to the Wishno Garage whenever you needed to throw down.

Nah that guy's a douche. :p Seriously though I owe Rory a favor or two but he refuses to pick up the damn phone and ask for a hand!

The car's fine, I've been short on funds and it hasn't needed anything in awhile, so it's just been chillin'.
