Rear end looks good! I like the body color rockers, will be perfect after painting the bottom black.

this car is seriously amazing. Im applauding from my computer chair. The paint looks gorgeous and that rear valance blends in perfectly. what is it? RD? As for a drop, especially on a early model, Id get coils or go AS low as u can on springs. Those higher rear arches are going to make the car look high in the rear. And you'll maybe want to adjust it later. I cant wait to see more updates. Especially on that hardtop and interior

PS. did you ever say what year this car is? How was the bumper swap?

Thank you! Yeah it's RD. For springs I'm probably going to go with Eibach pro's, won't completely slam it but it's my DD and I have to drive some pretty rough roads.
Yeah the car is 1988 (mfg 11/87). The front was simple, the back I had to improvise a little, did not use the plastic sliders because they pushed the bumper sides too far away from the car. Had to oval out the mounting holes for the bumper shox to tuck the bumper up as high as possible to minimize the gap.

How about a set of iS side skirts? They would set it off nicely and flow with the front and rear?

nah if I did it I would do cabrio-specific skirts. I kinda like how it looks now. Last night I painted the weld seam flat black and it looks freakin awesome.

UPDATE SEPT 27: Today was monumental... drove the car for the first time! My wife is a pilot so got some great pics with her plane before we went flying, and also a chopper that was at the airport. Spent the rest of the day visiting friends and family to show off the car. There was nothing less than gasps when people saw it- none of these people had been following this thread so it was quite a shock. The coolest part was when we went to do a couple errands around the city and EVERYONE was staring at the car. I am thrilled with how it came out. LOTS of work left to do though! On to the pics!
