    thanks dude... constructor
... at first i didn't realize that pic was actually mine lol. been in the sun all day with my back still out. fucking pain is killing me ... just not enough wine and percoset... in anycase i'll do that.

to the rest of you folks today i went and started assembly of my engine and travis and adam were busy doing disassembly of all suspension components... they are both certified master pimps and managed to get everything short of the shocks disassembled.
adam left and travis assembled the new swaybar bushings the adjustable (billet aluminum) swaybar links, aluminum control arms and the new stabilizer arms with the urathane bushings. unfortunately we'll have to wait until toomorrow to do more and i'll take pics in the morning (roommate has the camera) and that just about does it for today

oh and an addendum to my own ... i ended up filing down the new e bearing locator tabs and used the i main caps as originally intended. (had to buy a file to make this work) and my godfather is the one whom actually did the filing but that is how it goes.

open your photobucket album and hover your mouse over the image you want to insert. A box appears below the image. At the bottom it says "IMG Code" with a box to the right. Copy the code in that box and paste it into your post. No need to attach the image.

i am curious why my thread pissed you off???

in any case for those of you whom want to know what i did today.... BIG WASTE OF TIME yesterday we couldn't detache the plate(name escapes me) that the struts, control arms, and stabilizer arms mount to so today i walked (in the rain about 5 miles with said plates and stabilizer arms still attached to them to the autozone and removed them there. i also borrowed my roommates wheelie cart and brought with me my struts and koni adjustables and in my backback i carried the h&r springs and mounts to attempt to dissassemble and reassemble everything afteer 5 hours and a call from GODFATHER i gave up. then the folks at autozone said (as i was about to leave) we have an impact u can use so i got the old springs/mounts off but didn't have the tools to remove the old cartridge shocks so godfather said he'd take care of that. in any case not much new today

here are the pics i promised sorry that the parts are already installed before i took the pics

i know this pic is kinda rough but if u look at the really shiny verticle thing that is the adjustable swaybar link and all the parts have a red bushing on them (those are urathane)

alright so i knew my body would fight back but damn... i have been pulling 19 hour days doing little odds & ends trying to get shit done. and a few days ago i threw my back out and today i woke up with a cold (runny nose and a RAW throat)

so todaay was a rather disappointing day for me first i find out that the machine shop didn't put the rockershaft seals in and come to find that for 99.99% of the day 2 were missing, i later found 1 but that means i am still missing 1 then come to find out the tranny can't come apart because a bolt is stripped and locktited and worse yet its an allen bolt so tomorrow GODFATHER is coming up with the assembled struts and hopefully he has a solution (drillbits) for getting the bolt out furthermore i forgot about a bolt behind the timing cover until the whole front ennd was assembled so i ended up redoing all my work like 3 times(don't work on engines when sick and oon percoset) in all the engine is done (shy of the rear main seal bolts the rockershaft seal and the valvecover.

and due to timing issues (i have class monday) i ended up not painting the block or head but on the sickness build that'll be another story (hopefully)

so this is how my day started

yes this means my GODFATHER IS totally awesome and that he got the koni and the h&r's assembled

then i did this while godfather took apart the tranny and installed the new seals (yeah yeah i know you can't see much but thats the point the wheels are back on the car along with well everything suspension wise)

i realize i need an alignment sorry bout the low light

then while discussing how to assemble the tailshaft i asked why doess that tailshaft need to be so long and frankly ... it doesn't so i broke out the angle grinder (sawsall did nothing)

travis is MIA so who knows if the car will be done tomorrow but we'll see

so today i got my stickers from H&R and decided to badge natalie then we took her off the jack stands to see how much she dropped and how much stiffer the suspension is ... i could not believe the world of difference even though the engine was out of the car the car sat lower than where it did prior then when travis and i both stood on the crossmember it looked lower still than where it was before and whats more is that when we both were on the cross member i jumbed around and the car moved like baarely an inch i knew it would bestiffer but i guess i just wasn't sure that i couuld get it this stiff and then i found out i only had the koni's adjusted to half their max firmness and that was a mindblowing experience. i cannot wait to get her on the road. tomorrow looks prettymuch like a crapshoot so hopefully wednesday i can drive to school. tomorrow morning i have class and then i have an evening class and with the bus system we have here in indy i only have about 3 hours i can devote to working on my fair lady lol. she's a bitch but i love her any way.

the girlfriend thing is kind of a moot point when you don't have a car here in indy. but i'll focus on that when natalie is done.

today i did nothing ... well of my godfather and i tightened up the rear main nut on the tranny but that was it.

oh and i realized i may have messed up ... the tranny output shaft does have a mating point in the driveshaft and now i will have to reap the consequences if their are any.

tomorrow travis and adam should be here so... we shall see

Those of us that are older than dirt and grew up prior to cell-phone texting can't read what you're writing there. Different dialect of English, if you know what I mean. It probably doesn't bother anyone under 25, but I seriously find it hard to follow. You might get a lot more feedback if you re-edited all your posts with capitalization, grammar, real sentences and all that old-fashioned stuff. Good luck with your build and welcome to R3V.

yesterday sucked so much balls that pornstars jenna jameson and briana banks called me up and said damn your day sucked a LOT OF BALLS. it took way way way to long to install the engine and tranny (roommate had the camera so no pics of progress as of yet) the whole process took about 3 hours (including mating the engine and tranny - this is about 2 hours to long in my opinion) and then i had a disagreement with travis about how to tighten up the steering components and then once the engine and tranny were in i had to leave for school. when i got back travis tells me we have to remove them yet again in order to mate the driveshaft (i completely disagree but won't be able to say definatively until i get out of class).

                                natalie got her groove back
today i went down to autozone and got a battery and coolant hose and started her up she has a nasty exhaust leak (i lost some exhaust bolts but that'll wait til tomorrow) but runs pretty nice otherwise

however the bad news began when i took her for a test drive it turns out that i no longer have a reverse or fifth gear. i am wondering if maybe one of the bolts we had to replace managed to bind against a shaft during reassembly, but who knows - seriously who knows
