M&K Muffler with SSI Headers. You will like. Excellent quality in both and make great power. Ben from M&K posts regularly on the pelicanparts 911 forum and is great to do business with.

You car is very similar to my father's The RUF stuff looks good.

When he got the muffler it was pretty loud. M&K has since added a baffle and while it is still loud, it's reasonable and sounds awesome above 4 grand.

    Great looking project.

Soon, I promise. I was out of town for a week. The car is in final paint this week. I will post pictures from where we left off to completion.

My dad is not the most careful driver. Also my parents moved a few times and contractors were working in their garage where the car was kept.

The E30 M3 was mine. It has been sold and awaits delivery to the new owner.

It is just a sticker or vinyl correct? I don't want the thickness of real CF to ruin the cars lines.

    Thanks,

I will post updates as I get them. I am hoping to get it cleaned up for a PCA concourse in the end of September.

    August 25th Update:

    The trunk comes apart.

Gas tank out of the car for refinishing. This side looks fine, but there are deep gouges on the bottom right.

    Rodent nest remnants

    There is the rodent's nest

    Rust below the battery tray

The exhaust tip is cut off the original hot dog muffler and a new outlet is cut on the opposite side. Single downturned round tips will terminate just below the valence on both sides. I will see how I like the clean look. Maybe the exhaust needs more expression. I don't know. Tips are not yet fabricated in these pictures. They were in the middle of fabrication when I was there.

    No signs of oil leaks

    Damage free undercarriage
