This is what we got so far.
That should be it there, Well other than sway bushings since fap doesnt have them. Everything else seems to be good, On the front atleast.

As for that site, I wouldnt buy anything from them. The prices are right, but they have no brand name on any of there parts.
Last time I talked to them to ask them what the brand was. I got this answer "I DONT KNOW THE BRAND, ALL PARTS MEET OR EXCEEDS OE SPECIFICATIONS." That dont work for me.
But anyways, Everything is coming along super nice. The engine looks sweet. I actually really like the look of the white primer... been thinking about painting my M50 block white now...:)

Say what you want but everything that I have gotten from them has been of the utmost quality.
and you plow through a family of 4? They going to warranty them too?
I understand you want to support your friend's work but in this case it's just not worth it to save the $60. My entire car cost $1200 and after a quick search (try "control arm snap") I went with Lemfoerders anyway.
Sorry for the thread derail.paint sucks

Nice progress on the 318! And as for FCP Groton, they def. sell no-name made in china parts, and lead you to believe you are getting all German parts in their "kits". I bought a timing kit from them and all of the parts except the timing belt (continental) were in white un marked "made in china" boxes- including the water pump which didn't fit the car- they dicked me around saying they could get another one, I said simply-" I need a German water pump, not a china pump"- and they were easily able to order a German Graf pump- they continued to argue and tell me that Graff and Continental have factories in china. I wouldn't deal with them again so anyway Mike I agree with you 100%
