I ended up buying a 1990 gletscherblau 325i 5spd sedan with 180k on the odo today, with the hopes of SLOWLY restoring it back to good condition. It had been sitting for about a year in the Texas sun, so the paint is pretty much shot. The blue cloth interior was really dirty and filled with leaves, along with the driver's seat being torn. But, the good part is that the body is straight (aside from a dent or two) with no rust, so overall with some TLC, the car has potential.
The car will crank, but it won't turn over. The PO thought it may be fuel related, but I need to look into it... oh boy
First thing on the agenda is to give it a good cleaning and get rid of all the gunk its accumulated from sitting, but here are the pics:
