so im finaly going to make a build thread since im almost done.
i know im a newb here but i've been useing rev to do research for almost a year now, so thanks for all the info.

by the way, i decided to take out the blower motor so i cut a few wholes in the firewall cover and hid the wireing harness behind that. it turned out very clean, thought maybe some of you would want to get that mess outta the way.

i dont have any pix of the motor when i first got it but it was a mess so i cleaned and repainted everything so now its all nice and clean :D

the first link is of my "custom" coilovers, spring+bilstein+sleeve+sawsall=custom haha

then just some interior stuff. and side moldings are shaved since i had body work to do anyway.

From what I've heard, I wouldn't trust a G250 with a turbo M50. Hell, I wouldn't use one with a "regular" DOHC motor.

yeah i threw the 250 in for now actually. im going to rebuild the 260, just some synchro blocking rings, seals and bearings. ill pound on the g250 pretty hard though and see if any problems pop up.

just replaced the acc belt tonight after it coming apart on my test run, also wired my cooling fan up and installed the radiator for the last time (hopefully). so now everything is good to go and with alittle luck and maybe a wad-o-cash i can get it though emissions this weekend...

Did you do anything internally to the motor? I was thinking about running the same setup sometime next year, im geting ahead of myself i need the get the m50tu in the car and running first lol

nope all stock internals.
i wish i had put the motor in running its stock setup first, instead i put it all in at once and has been somewhat of a headache. i had some bad idle and stutter problems that would have been alot easier to fix if i didnt have all the turbo stuff on it. but its all good now and i've never loved the car more. it always felt incomplete untill the 24v was in. ill post a vid up asap...
