What'd you do with the Black interior? If you still have them send me a PM please. I want to buy them off you.Leave a comment:

for personal clarification, the flush mount valves are drilled into the barrels and the lips are full flush correct?
are you by chance using those L shaped valve stems and then routing it to one of the blot holes,
or do you have to remove the wheel for inflation?Leave a comment:

Yeah it's the last little spring, that son of a &%^&*%&&)(. I'm just going to rely on sheer force, fingers crossed.Leave a comment:

i just did this over the weekend as well, but didn't take any pictures... By the last coiled spring, do you mean the one in the above pictures, or the little spring that is the last piece to go on the lock assembly?Leave a comment:

It was a a bit tricky and it took me awhile to figure it out. I held the bottom spring tab up against the wall then coiled the upper tab to the other side of the wall.
It's your lucky day! I still have the old locks laying around so here are some pics...

Lower and upper tab on spring...

Make sure the lower tab is on the bottom...

Push it up against the wall...

Now pull the upper tab towards the other side of the wall...

It should look like this...

Drop the latch down making sure its between the upper and lower tab...

Should look like this....

There should be resistance when you turn the key both ways and the spring should pop it back to center.Leave a comment:

I'm doing the lock rebuild now, and I can't for the life of me get that last coiled spring on, how did you do it, any tricks? Or just sheer brute force?Leave a comment:

Thanks! Yea I was thinking of removing the europlates also. It makes the mhw's flow with the euro filler a lot better without the euro plate there.
Yeah the Alpine covers are a bit too much for my taste also and they will get replaced as soon as I find some better covers.
Thanks! I love cloth sport seats also. Much softer then the vinyl seats that were previously in there.
Word! Still needs a lot more work done though...
Yup, it was tight but they fit without any issue. I just had to trim the spacers to get them as close to the edge on the shelf as possible. blueapplesoda is running the same speakers but without the spacer and he carved up a hole in the rear to make them fit.Looks great man!
Did the 6x9's fit underneath that shelf without an issue? I want to get rid of my box completely so that I just have 5.25 components and 6x9's in the back. I track the car more often now so I don't feel like disconnecting and reconnecting my sub box/amp each time.
Nope they are different. Driver side is a 8 cylinder lock and Passenger/rear is a 7 cylinder lock.
Driver side - 51 21 9 061 343
Passenger/rear doors - 51 21 9 556 313
From what you posted, it sounds like you also need the C clip that holds the cylinder in place.Leave a comment:

What part numbers did you use for the lock cylinder rebuild? Are they universal for driver and passenger? I'm in the same boat right now, seeing as how my entire driver's lock pulls out with the key...Leave a comment:
