It's not a big update, and not funny either, but it has to be done, like everything else..

I guess we're spoiled with rust free shells out here, that's a lot of work.

I always loved the Swedish Chef on The Muppets and this thread is giving me yet more reason to love you Swedes (apart from your kickarse rally drivers, cool personalities, your roads, your lax rego laws...)

Hey man, keep up the good work! You'll get it done one day :)

It's the easiest to buy whole 540 / 740 where to get the parts, i recommend E39 540 manual because they're the cheapest and have the best engine ;) Though now when it's possible to get S62 ECU coded to E30 for under 1000€ ( on www.e30.de ) the E39 M5 would be one kick-ass option also. So many normal M6x powered E30's around :P

                Thanks for the comments guys!

But first to you my Souuumi friend, Jonsku :D

I want to get my car streetlegal, so the m60 is good enough for me ;)

Everyone can build a illegal car, but how is it with fun streetlegal cars? ;)

You know that I love your car so much, everything is so well done on it! and little that is my goal :)

                      Fueltank holes back again:

Some work on the leftside on the car:

Soon the floor should be ready for some paint after a couple of hours of welding and grinding(?) if I use the right word for it ;)

You're going to retain the red colour? Guess we spoke about it but can't remember anymore..

                          Here's one motivation-picture ;)

Car looks amazing, you've got a lot of patience and are really good with sheet metal, its impressive.

                                Thanks!

                                Here are some more pics..

                                Leftside principal done:

I have wax the inside of the both sides, so the rust not going to come back from inside weldings.. but I'm going to wax even more as I come further with the car..

So now its much grinding, sandblast, and weld small holes left before I can get it of the tiplift..

                                The car right now:

I'm going to clean up the garage, then start work again :)

                                Best regards
