Quick vid from a mates E30.
Managed a trackday at Hampton on Good Friday.
Car ran well all day with no major problems save a leaking inputshaft seal in the gbox.
Bolted some slicks on and managed a 1.22.9.

    Pretty slow, but awesome fun.

coincidently Hansville and Silverdale are towns in western washington too...perhaps we will cross paths in an alternate reality ....
keep up the good work, the car rocks.

So, I may, or may not, have driven this thing from Hville to Silverdale the other day. And it may, or may not, be something of a hoot to drive.
Noisy (no sound deadning), smelly, bumpy (she must be pretty light, it's been some work getting the height down) and a bit twitchy (needs a wheel alignment).

All systems work! Plenty more fettling to do but these things are never really finished I guess.

4 farkin years and I had a gutsfull too.
Anyway, tyres on their way, suspension in the works and cooling system sorted.

Everything works properly so almost time for a decent drive/track hack.

You may, although I might ignore it.

I do still have a fair way go, though, so...

Props man. Definitely something different from the routine cookie cutters.

Now I'm wondering if this would be a route to do an E30 M3 clone with an S54?

The M3 flares almost lay a great foundation for the wide tire issues.

This thing is like a Singer 911 or an Icon Land Cruiser. I wonder if there would be a market for handbuilt, reformed E30s with multilink suspension and 24v (or a screaming 16v) like this?

    Awesome!!
Time for some sort of rear wing and rear diffuser to fill in that space.
