I went to a local tech school for my Automotive Degree

it was a complete waste of time, we didn't really work on any car, unless I work on my own. We had "project" cars too but nothing really got done, and some cars got trashed

sorry you found the same thing out, only in a differnt way :(

I'm in an automotive program as well. My instructors are alot more motivated than that. Most kids that spend every day in the shop fuck things up(The ones who don't give a crap), some don't.

The kids who actually want to be technicians, such as me, and two other kids stay in the classroom and learn.

You had a crappy teacher, and unmotivated kids. I'd talk to whomever runs that program, tell them what happened.

The executive director of the school is just as lame. He started out acting like he was going to do something about it, then ... pretty much nothing. I work for the same company in the medical school. Im going to document the entire thing and send to our corporate office.

Not expecting that will do much good either really.. but .. gotta try.

i go to uti in az, so i can tell you that almost all the kids here are lazy dueschbags who dont really want to work on anything... (why the hell are they here???). i wish you brought it to my campus, i would have had it done in no time for ya. i pretty much leave class and go work on cars in the shop area whenever i get a chance, then work on cars at home, haha i have not live... but a fast car.
srry to here that though, youd be better finding a student with a bimmer and offering him a couple bux or a beer to take it in and do it on his own. you dont want just anyone to work on it or they would have found a way to put everything on upside down, backwards, possibly inside out too. hence the "it wouldnt fit" (CAUSE YOUR HOLDING IT BACKWARDS)
