I'm overdo for an update :-/ The car died while on a 20 mile test run. Somehow it made it my driveway where we needed to tow the last few hundred feet to the garage, lol. I initially thought the problem was the fuel pump - NOPE. Turns out one of the coil drives died, but the problems didn't end there. The car would run, but like crap and with a LOT of blowby. I purchased a compression tester and the results were not good :(
Warm engine numbers:
Cyl-Dry - Wet
1 - 105 -150
2 - 215 - 240
3 - 185 - 210
4 - 120 - 165
5 - 210 - 235
6 - 115 - 150
I guess that explains the MASSIVE amounts of blowby :( And it's just been getting worse.
So I picked up this:



It's a wrecked 1992 325is 5 speed. Looks like I'm going M50NV! Stay tuned.
