A sneak peek at GREEN HELL...

I'm sure this has happened to you...
You've got some big plans for your car, but the car is really fine the way it is. You just can't find a reason to park the car and tear it apart when you're enjoying it so much!

Then something happens.

Well, that happened to me, and I thought I would just show you the first couple shots of how she's doing. Yes, they're cell phone pics in harsh sunlight. ON PURPOSE. She's not done yet, and when you have people like Jean, and Levent to look up to, you don't want to start showing all the ugly details/warts too soon...
Suffice to say, I found some new motivation (me and car), and gone is the stretch and poke. It won't be all show and a little bit of go.

I don't. It looks tits, but I gotta tell you, I hated worrying about the wheels all the damn time. I never curbed them or anything, but it was always in the back of my head. Plus, it was really hairy when I would drive it hard (with a chipped eta?) I just plain need more damn tire, as more motivation is coming.
I hope to make it to another NC meet, yes. Living in MD makes it a little tougher. Maybe this fall, if my schedule doesn't fill up too much. I plan on being at V@V...

Ebay.de for the Windsplits. There's even a set on US Ebay now, at least there was last week. I have a short set for sale, but to be honest, they are more for the Bavaria/3.0CS(i) crowd, I think.

Working on some proper spacers. Damn coilovers. I just don't feel the non-hubcentric love anymore, I must have run 5-7k miles on non-hubcentric before, but now it gives me the willies.


... and there's plenty more to be done.
I guess I'm about 40% done right now.

Pax river is the same Clark, only good thing was the garage but it only had a 15 amp service made it useless to do anything.
