Sina's BMW 318i: Project Re-Shell & Beyond! (Starting Page 46)
Now that the wheels/tires are all done, it's time to focus on lingering issues
Need to RE-re-key the doors after someone who didn't know what they were doing rekeyed them to an ignition lock that i've since switched, though worse than before
install new ignition cylinder, matched to original VIN
fully roll up the rear fenders (fronts are done)
fix steering wheel squeek (wasn't reinstalled properly by same person who poorly rekeyed locks)
get OBC chime working again
respray iS lip for millionth time
get low-beams working and fuse #23 to STOP blowing
someone's steppin up their e30 game!
looks clean bromo
is the front gonna come down at all?
thx brothaman. we gonna have to meet up next week.
i think that eventually, yes.. but for now, there are plenty of things on the car (ie: working headlights/interior/parking lights/etc) that need to be addressed.
Yeah I really don't mind the gap in the front at all.
Some of you guys may be used to driving long distances with low, but I just don't enjoy it.
I put a lot of miles on this car everyday, and hate having to drive like a kook around cracks in the road.
I'm thinking I'll have to get some Bilstein sports for the rear to solve my rubbing issues.
^ I don't blame you. I miss being able to toss mine around and not worry about possibly bending my wheels or something... I plan on raising mine back up in a few weeks or so.

Honestly I built it just to have a place to sit and listen to Hotline Bling on repeat.
Washed the car today, and since I was painting a bunch of pieces for the Peugeot,
I decided to sand down the iS lip which has been scuffed several times now, and hit it with few coats of black.
Lol drove to Ikea in the afternoon and it was lookin sooooo good parked :D
Your car looks great. You have my favorite sedan on the boards. Good job.
Thank you, that really means a lot.
Stay tuned for the ride over the next couple of years with this car - it's a never-ending progression of improvement.
there were essentially two, but the timing of it made it seem they were related, which they were in fact not.
sealed low beams (one which was a 2 mos old) burned out and the headlight switch (known culprit) was causing fuse #23 to short for the last few months.
one trip to PNP and another to O'Reilys (lol) took care of it.
