Well, thought that as Post #1,000, I'd ought to start a project thread for my car. I really started driving this car today, 4.12.2010. Long story short. I grew up around this car, it was my aunt's car. Everything about this car intrigued me, even as a little kid I knew I had to have it someday. The car spent most of its life in San Mateo, Ca. 7/1990 (1991) BMW 318i/4, M42B18. I learned a few things. Car was bought through Euro-delivery, and spent time in the NRW Region of Germany. 1991 BMW 318i/4, built July 1990 in Ratisbon, Germany I don't want this car to be anything crazy. I'm Aiming to have a Subtle Euro-spec, OEM style E30 with a little flair. I might do an engine swap down the line, with an M50...maybe even turbocharge the M42. But for now, the M42 does its job, and I can get by with it, till college. One day, I want to send this car back to Dusseldorf, visit my relatives, and take it on the Nurburgring.
