Those seats look terrible... if you want to, I'll be a pal and take them off your hands for shipping costs. Man, sucks you got screwed on the seats... ;)

    Looks good!

Not running yet, but I haven't tried to start it til I change the timing belt.

            Yesterday's progress:

Cleaned up and ready to put back together

New water pump and new belt on

All done reassembling but the parts place gave me the wrong oil filter and I broke the distributor rotor so I'll have to continue after the weekend. ;)

OK, got the car to crank, but it won't start yet.
Hopefully today we can figure it out.

              but it's getting there.

Narrowed it down to the ignition side of things. Fuel pump works, but there's no spark, and after checking the resistance on the coil, it seems to be dead. Will check the relays and try a new coil tomorrow.

Now I need some tires that don't look like they're going to disintegrate within the next 5 miles...

Can't really find anything negative to say about such a car for a little over 6 bills and a few days of elbow grease...

Thanks! Also got a newer cap and rotor in great shape from the junkyard to replace the one I cracked while doing the timing belt. Idles a little smoother, and I'm pretty sure the ones I took off were the originals. The years stamped on them were 87 and 88. WTF
