Hey guys I am new to the e30 world. I started with a mk2 vw and then a mk3 and i will never go back. I picked up this E30 in May of 2010. I have big plans for it and want to start documenting everything.
Things done so far:
Full Tune-Up (Cap, rotor, Plugs, Wires, fuel filter, cleaned TB, oil, and cleaned Isv)
Hid conversion for smileys
Wired city lights
New motor mount
New Hood Strut
Alpine Head Unit (thanks Stereoinstaller1)
JL Amp and sub
Interior scrub (sat for a awhile pollen everywhere)
What needs to be done:
Wiper control
Cruise Control
Tail Lights (new then all red, all black)
Fog light lens repair
Trunk seal
Door rust
Headliner replacement
Carpet replacement
New bulbs in cluster and Red needles
LED interior lights and license plate light
Replace shifter bushings and shift nob
Suspension Ideas
Koni inserts (Hellabad)
Ground Control Coilovers (undecided spring rate)
Cut and reweld strut housings 1.5 inchs shorter
Raceskid skidplate
Wheels
It has Ronal LS wheels 15x7 with 205 45R15 tyres
I want to sell those and get some 3piece 16 inch BBS wheels, Redrill to 4x100 and widen to 9s all the way around
I am not sure about colors yet.
Interior
Has IS interior and the seats have been recovered by previous owner with BMW leather and are by far the best i have seen done yet. Most of the ones i have seen the leather just doesn't fit the foam.
No mystery stains there
