Update 06/09/10...some fresh pics in post #9...
Bought it off of a guy around here about 2 months ago, just reg'd it today(no decent pics yet). For 2 yrs I have been searching on & off for a cheap and decent shape Touring that I won't mind putting a little money and (alot of time) into. Well here it is, after I picked it up before starting the Lowtec 40/35mm install to eliminate the 4x4 status.....
My assistant, she was a huge help.

My Lab/Doberman mix(mutt, but to each his own). She turned 7 this Spring.
This is the rear, just off of the jack.

And the front, just dropped off of the jack. They have both since settled quite a bit. BUT, I discovered that the RF strut is totallly blown and the Left isn't far behind....I'm not concerned, 5-lug is on the way.

I don't usually ever stop wroking to take photos but with this project I will. They were all quickies taken with my old 10D, and the 18-55 kit lens(modded to fit the EF-only body, of course)IIRC. Some proper photos may be up this coming weekend as I have 4 days off, wooohoo.
Plus, I just drove it for the first time since I test drove it, and I drove the balls off of it. It has no tq like the seta, but gets up nice and quick even for 20yr old 1.8l sohc 113-hp(if i'm lucky) 4cyl. I need a shorter diff for the time being though.
My next plans are to install the facelift E36 side blinkers and Z3 shifter, source the rest off my 5-lug parts. Then get the M50tu on the stand and do the refresh that I bought parts for back in September. That should take us into the winter.
