Whats good gentlemen? It has been awhile and a long time coming but finally things are coming together. I do not work at a high paying job. I work at Sea World. I do not have a degree, I go to Miramar College as a sophomore and I am a future UCSD transfer. Getting funds to get another car after my birthday February 22 has been a real struggle. Life had took it's drop and plunge this past year after a series of things to me had happened. Got out of a 3 year relationship with someone I loved. She set me up and almost got me killed after her friend bashed me in the head a good.. 10 times or so. Woke up in a hospital bed a day later. (PICS or GTFO???) No I don't really want to share said girlfriend or said head bashing. Then my birthday came round and went to Button Willow Race Way for the Hella Flush event. Biggest mistake of my life. Hella Flush participants were stupid as fuck and laughed at me crashing my e30. I wanted to cry seeing me e30 I spend thousands of dollars on in pieces. Anyways. The question was whether to continue my love for BMW e30's or pick up a cheap and great Daily Driver like a Civic or Accord, some ish like that to support my college life. I chose to take the one that doesn't make sense. Yeah, I chose to purchase an e30 and had my mind up. The boxy design of an e30, headlights, old skool feel is the best. I always wanted an e30 cabrio to.. so this was my chance i guess. I saved enough money and waited long enough for a Craigslist e30 to come up and it did. Went to LA and took a look at this Alpine White Cabrio. It looked like shit. My Father and I haggled the original 5 grand to a 4 grand purchase. It felt like it was worth it. It wasn't, at all. After test driving it and all that shit. The dude left to go get some "extra stuff" from his house. Waited 2 hours for the dude and finally we met up and we exchanged cash for keys. I just got in the car and it broke down in the middle of the street, almost on the onramp back down to San Diego. I pulled over to the safest place. The clutch pedal was stuck in the farthest position. FuUuUuUu. Looked in the motor again, the transmission fluid was empty, brake fluid was empty. It was crazy. Obviously the clutch went out or something like that. Waited 4 hours for a tow truck to pick the car up and headed down to APEX a.k.a San Diego Performance European to get the whole clutch, clutch master cylinder, blah blah all that shit replaced. I called the dude like WTF. Of course he didn't know what happened. Whatevers. Anyways long story short like I said, funds is hard to get so im doing whatever I can day by day with whatever money I can spend on my Sea World budget. This e30 is nowhere near the perfect condition Sky was in. This e30 is nowhere near showroom worthy, exterior, interior, engine bay or even electrical. Life should be looking a little brighter with a running car lol It's alot of work, but it will pay off in the end. I know it. Thanks for looking!! I will update as often as I can.
