There are two grades of IX, Good and Bad. There is simply no in between anymore and if you have a Bad one and some time there is no reason to not build a rally machine!

I have good ones, and I have bad ones, this one is in the worse shape of them all. It spent its whole life in downtown Chicago. So its seen its share of rust and dents.

While browsing for suspension parts I cam across this, turns out that GC makes camber plates for the iX!
So looks like I will be going with GC for the whole thing.

Very cool project, but I hate to see a rare body kit get beat on offroad.

I have been thinking of making fiberglass replicas of the parts that may get hit and broken while off road to keep my rare kits safe.

Yeah, we have found a better source for the camber plates, there is a man in Australia that makes a camber/caster adjustable plate with a top mount bearing. His design is the only way a iX camber plate can be made. I am ordering a test set of them next week, when they come in I will be doing a full write up for everyone on them. Afterwards I will be working out a group buy with the seller to try and get the costs down, 5 or more I think was what he would want to give us a discount on them.

Very interested in these. Let me know how they work for you. Also you said something about GC making camber adjustment for an ix. Did you actually get said part or did they just say they can make them.
