There are wires hanging out of your dash, bro.

The dye is from http://www.colorplus.com/ , Ms. Price the owner is a very nice lady. It gets used on Pebble Beach concours cars so I figure it's good enough for my E30 :).
This particular colour matches the Karmesinrot used in MY90+ instead of the Cardinalrot. It's actually Rolls Royce red - and the best colour balance rendition is in the map pocket.
Incidentally, doing this properly is very much not worth it. There's about 50 real man-hours of work in that interior and since it's not the first I do, it's going quickly compared to the previous ones.

                      Oh you mean those wires?

It took 2.5qts of red to do seats F&R, door panels, rear panels, kickpanels, both consoles, knee bolster, glovebox, rear parcel tray and rear speaker housings.
It will take a little over an extra qt to do the main and back carpet + four floor mats and I think I'll give it a little more.
                          Then soffener, cleaner, etc.

lol @ the San Pelligrino bottles.

I'd like to see how well it holds up, especially on the center console.

Centre console, door handles, door pockets, kickpanels etc have been cleared as well as dyed. We performed a series of involuntary tests (...) so far so good.
Edited to add: the dash is also dyed - black - and that has been possibly the best test ever: it will hold up to ages of normal use given what it's gone through the past four weeks. The dye protects the vinyl from UV nicely and it gives the dash a uniform colour again. More pictures soon.
