the car is primed now, just have to block it, prep it and then paint it.. I think we are only going to paint the engine bay first as we are not sure which engine we r going with.. we will know by Monday..
I don't want to be confused here, this could be one of my favorite M3's in the world if you spend the money on a euro S50 into that S14. My favorites include the following (not that my opinion counts for squat in your car):
[insert] Mariano's wicked M3 here [/insert]
Any way you go, this thing is going to be great. I'm glad to see one going back to Brillantrot.
I have not decided yet which engine I am going with.. My main concern was the paint, which is going to be Brillantrot with a lil flavor.. The above pics of the M3's are all awesome, Yans, Ryans and I believe the other Red belongs to a member on s14.. They are all beautiful cars.. Hopefully the one I am restoring, rebuilding will be in the same category...
Looking good, no matter what engine goes in it will be sweet.
thanks dude, i am not sure exactly what motor to put in but will be a BMW engine for sure.. The paint is Ferrari Red which is kind of similar to the Brillantrot but with no orange tone.. I did the mix on both and difference was violet in Ferrari and orange in Brillantrot.. It looks so nice..
lol. I am debating between the S14, Euro S50B32 or I might get crazy and do the S62 from the M5. But right now its between the S14 and the euro s50b32..
I wouldn't have painted that bay til the s62 was test fitted, but when you outsource the technical work, I can see how you could pawn that fresh paint off on some subcontractor.
