I had a guy come to my shop to buy one the e30 m3's. After looking at my body/paint work,he decided to just give me a project instead of buying my e30 m3. The owner of the e24 M6 is an enthusiast like many of us on this forum. He has a 94 850csi, 91 MB 560sec, 87 M6 and 88 M6. His 87 M6 is the one that we are somewhat restoring.
Mechanical Repairs:
1. complete tune up
2. blower motor
3. valve cover gasket
4. front end suspension
5. trans seal
a few more stuff I cant remember right now
Body/paint
The body over all was in good shape but had a few rust spots, waves and few dents. It has all original panels with matching vins. So we repaired the rust spots using only sheet metal since it had bondo. I guess thats how the last body shop fixed the rust.
