Bitchin' car, I just picked up a vert for a winter beater too lol. It just doesn't make sense! I like your styleComment

So, I put the car on a lift to work on it, and gave it a good look over only to find that my so called beater is incredibly clean and well maintained. After finding this out and starting to really like driving the car around, I decided to part out my SC in favor of building this thing, my IS, and getting a new winter beater to replace this... Maybe not the smartest idea, but I've really come to like the car, and my SC has been nothing but trouble.
Anyways, been busy with work and starting to tear my SC apart, so the e30 has just been hanging out. I bought a bunch of maintenance crap (timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, accessory belts, distributor rotor and cap) and after finishing up the job and starting the car to bleed the coolant I noticed a leak in my fuel feed line that was spraying fuel out. New line should be in tomorrow, but here's how she sits.
Also finally got a chance to pull the rear subframe and suspension off my buddy's old chassis, I didn't have a car big enough to bring the subframe home, but here's the disgusting but trusty rear coilovers that will also be cleaned tomorrow, and hopefully on the car within the week.
And since I'm pulling parts off my SC, I decided it was time for a new wheel and shift boot. I'll probably do a better job of attaching the shift boot later, but I dig it for now.
As you may notice, my top isn't the only piece of upholstery that's absolutely wrecked on this car, the seats are totally shot. Since I'm planning on putting a rollbar in, the rear seat is going to get tossed anyways, and for the fronts I have these.
After 4 years of them being used for daily driving purposes in my IS, and them being used when I bought them, they've seen better days. With a little cleaning they'll more than do the job for this budget build.
More updates whenever I feel like being productive.sigpicComment
