85 325e is getting out of hand

I've been watching this board longer than I've been registered, and it's been both and interesting and informative read.

    My humble contribution:

1985 325e I picked up for a daily beater. Crap silver over bronzit with diving boards, like anyone hasn't seen one of those. I decided to paint it and fix the cracked dash, but it's grown from there. I've also decided to drop my supercharged e34 project and part it out, and drop it into this car. The e34 build went south with the guy back in Nashville basically dropping off the grid, so i have a car full of random finishing parts, and it would simply be easier to do the e30 and part the e34 out.

Plans are to paint it black, euro bumpers, coilovers, new headliner and carpet. Undecided on wheels yet, so many choices. Motor is a M52, stroked to 3.2, ported and polished head, VAC motorsports turbo cams, ITB's, ASA 6lb blower and ebay shorties (will most likely switch to long tubes in the 30). Now, these are specs quoted to me by the guy who built the motor, I simply traded a 95 Sportster for it. I was expecting a ZF 310 tranny, but after getting the car it appears it's a 250. Begs the question as to whether I need to source out for a ZF, keep the 250, or use the 260 already in the car. Input there would be greatly appreciated. Plans are to also go Water to Air intercooler, maybe work it into the airbox with the ITB's. (??) Friend of a friend can work one up on CAD, likes to do that crap for fun, we'll see.

    On to pics:

    Motor:

Vid is incomplete, got this end of October just before getting the e34 back. Car idles and revs absolutely ridiculous. This is just a start of it:

    Car:

This is liable to be a slow build, as I need to get up to Nashville with a trailer to pick up the e34. I've got the typical battery box rust to fix, but I'm no welder, so I'm going to have to work something up there. I'm hoping to get the motor down here next week, but may need to leave it up there a bit longer if I can get the airbox/intercooler worked up. Goal is to at least have this up and running by end of January.

More than welcome to take input on this.

I've watched your posts on the audio equipment, I'll be glassing 8's beside the rear seats.
