they get painted separately since we did a strip down paint job for Trent.. He is getting the treatment..;)

I'm considering buying a new OEM front valance since there's some minor repair needed on mine and getting the texture to look right may not be worth the hassle and the new ones come w/o texture, which I think I would look better anyway. Has anyone done this?

Couldn't find a front valence without texture


I'm going to be spraying mine without texture on any of the valences, then following up on the is lip, rear apron, and rockers with a black bumper paint.

i dont have texture on mine and its holding up well. word of advice for the rear valence (i'm pretty sure yur shop guy is aware of) is if you remove the texture you want to make sure you to grind down/fill in the factory weld seams on the corners otherwise ur paint job would look blotched and over run

i dont have texture on mine and its holding up well. word of advice for the rear valence (i'm pretty sure yur shop guy is aware of) is if you remove the texture you want to make sure you to grind down/fill in the factory weld seams on the corners otherwise ur paint job would look blotched and over run

I've decided I'm gonna add the ACS Kopi rear valance, so we didn't do anything but repair the rust beneath the battery box and paint. I think that valance will blend the rear a lot better since I'm installing the "is" side skirts.
