Ha, I forgot about that. Looking forward to the finished pics.

Is the front bumper coming off??

What are options if you can't get the bolts to break loose? On Kish's track car i couldn't get them off, i thinki went through two hex sockets and a 3/4" inch breaker bar before I gave up.

I guess you could drill it out but then you risk drilling into the threads.

Anyways, I'm excited for you Trent!

*edit, and Sonny, pics of that Toronado when its done please!

Thanks Turk. Yup, the bumper is coming off tomorrow. Luckily, I've already had the front one off so the bolts are loose. Unfortunately, one of the rear bolts didn't cooperate, but took it loose at the body and then was able to cut it off. The shock was all twisted up, so I'm looking for one right now.

                          We have a winner!

Since my windshield had three chips and showed the typical pitting after almost 22 years on the road and it's just necessary to remove for paint, I'm having a new one installed and just removing the rear one for now. It took the guy literally like 6 minutes to remove both. Found a huge June bug wedged in the gap behind the parcel shelf. He was d-e-d dead.

The one thing that has always bugged me to look at on my car was the top of the right rear quarter where it meets the trunk lid. Obviously the there had been a repair made there sometime in the car's history and someone didn't bother to get it straight, so that's on the agenda for today. Right below the trunk lid on the body you can see where I had to scrape away some hardened putty a PO had used to try and seal the tail light since the mounting area wasn't straight.

Also on the agenda today is cutting out some of the typical rust at the bottom of the valance beneath the battery box.

Threw in the last photo since one of Sonny's M3's he just finished was in the shot. Looks like Zinno also, but it's actually Ferrari red.

                          Gettin' pretty darned excited now.
