Paint looks really nice, it will look great with ACS rear and IS skirts.

I got a 6-pack of Warsteiner once, I was unimpressed :( I was hoping it would be Vlad e30 status

Brutal. After one severely bad experience with a bottle and being all by myself at 17, I still to this day cannot drink Whiskey's.

Car looks great. Fresh Zinno is.. amazing.

the first 3-4 whiskey on the rocks is cool, anything over that is just dangerous..I even mixed it with Patron shot sometimes, now thats what you call a bad hangover the next day..lol

My new Canon camera arrived yesterday, so decided it would only be right to take the first shots of my car and today's progress. Should be going back to my home garage tomorrow or Friday to finish putting it all back together.

Repaired front valance. Glad I stuck with the original textured one. I think you're right about the rock chips Chris. Oh, and the trunk lid I bought from you turned out beautiful. Besides, no sense spending the extra dinero for a new one when the original one came out just fine.

Even though it's still slightly blurry from a thin film of installation lube, sitting in the driver's seat looking through the new windshield is a huge difference compared to the old one.

just needs to get wet sanded and buffed.. it looks fine the way it is but wet sand/buff will really bring out the shine.

Not much progress to update yet, but it's back in my home garage now. Been busy with holiday stuff and ordering the last few miscellaneous parts. I'm gonna start a new thread in January to detail the final wetsanding & buffing and reasembly--including figuring out the seemingly non-existent installation process for the side skirts. I'll post a link as soon as I start the new thread. See ya next year!

looking great! I love the M3/Euro antenna. How did you wire it down? Pillar to dash?
I'm considering it, if it doesn't mean too much.

Pretty easy actually--drilling a hole in your roof is kinda scary, but I took measurements off an actual M3 and it worked out fine. Since my sunroof motor was getting weak anyway, I removed it before I did the antenna install, but I don't think it's actually necessary otherwise. Just get the header panel loose by removing the visors and hooks, check panel, switch and cover piece and then from the door rubber and leave attached at the sunroof. It's rather close quarters, but you can get your hands in from the windshield side and through the panel opening then.

I took the passenger side A pillar trim off which helped a lot--just don't break the tab off the bottom like I did. Pull it loose at the top--towards the left, and it will pop loose and then just slide it upwards to release the tab at the bottom. Don't pull like I did, just lift up and off. Here's what the clips look like. (The bottom one I broke--there should be a metal piece there that slips into the square hole, but it fell off.)

Then feed the cable down and if you open the glove box it will be visible in the opening on the right. Then just remove the top cover panel inside the glove box and feed it over to the radio, which I haven't done yet.
