Here is a quick picture of the rear subframe and diff back in the car with the solid mounts.

Note the subframe has been raised 12mm, and the spacers to allow use of the subframe locking/safety plate are placed underneath. Just need to get some braided lines, and a new eccentric bolt washers from the laser cutters and it can go back together.

I'm not reattaching the rear sway bar, as I don't really believe in them in the rear of an e30, and I think the spring rates should do the job of rear roll control to allow maximum traction.

Then I can finally put it back together and move it, so I don't have to roll around in the dirt!

      Small update.

A couple pictures I have from my phone. Seeing that I sold my race car I kept some of the body panels. I have fitted the carbon bonnet and bootlid.

I have almost finished with the engine, just a couple small things that I'm waiting on that I needed water jetted, and my ally engine mounts that I need to make up.

Sorry about the dirty block. I was cheap and didn't want to pay to get it tanked and my uncle's was busy so I just scrubbed and the reassembled.

I have newer pictures to upload of the engine, just need to get them onto the internet.

        Another small update.

I had some time to kill today, so I finalised the radiator's. Yup plural. I final mounted the intercooler, engine oil cooler, engine radiator and the electric fan.

I also mounted up the shrouding between all the coolers and the radiator to try and keep flow through the coolers and radiator.

        Here is the fan.

The front end back together, I have sealed the opening for the valance again the intercooler. I just need to fix the front where I cut it very jagged.

Here is an image from the vent in the bonnet down to the radiator. I should have the shroud that fits on the rear of it and my engine mounts back early next week. So I should be able to slot the engine into the bay.

Quick question, I can only afford to buy my management end of next month so would it be ok to fit the engine into the car and leave it standing for a month??

More info on the VW master cyl please. Are you using the corrado one? Is it a direct bolt on with a booster & abs ( I doubt it on the abs, but had to ask).

Its a 25mm unit from a VW Caravelle/Microbus/Kombi 2.5/2.6lt not sure if they got those anywhere else in the world? It was a direct bolt on to the booster. I ran new lines to the rear of the car, and the left front brake. It only has 3 ports so not sure how it would work with Abs.
