My "new" E30! Let the work begin....

Just picked up an 89 325i. 118k mi, runs perfect... My mom gave me the car so it cost me nothing, going to need to put money into quite a lot!

    Within the next 6 months:
    -replace driver's door lock
    -keyless entry
    -check fuel level sender
    -new front valence/splitter
-new rear valence to replace rusty one
    -side skirts?
-new exhaust/muffler/ or tips to replace the god awful thing on there now
    -shadowline trim
    -full paint job
    -replace antenna
    -new wheels/tires
    -drop ride height
    -upgrade headlights/fogs

    Within the next year (hopefully):
    -full interior restoration
    -engine, header, exhaust modifications

put the money the places it needs to go, then worry about your front valance. either will look stupid on a stock e30, especially one that doesn't even run right.

Plugs, belt & tensioner, cap, rotor, brakes, brake fluid flush, diff fluid, coolant flush. You need a good clean slate. Maybe the car really has been taken care of though and that would certainly be nice.

shocks and springs if your current stuff is blown.

a blown suspension is unsafe and unpredictable.
