how bad was the rust on the Shwartz? I mean other than the arches and front nose panel? I'd say try to save the shwartz. either way keep on truckin man!

Well, unfortunately, the trunk wells on both sides are completely rotted out, the tail panel has damage and four huge rust holes (its totally fucked, i would need to weld in a new tailpanel) And all the suspension is really rusty, i need all new brake lines, the axle bolt is so rusted and unrecognizable i couldnt remove it with any size socket, if a person looked at it they wouldnt know a bolt is supposed to be there. And the rear shock mount area has some bad things going on there as well, havent looked into it much yet. Also, the lip that goes along underneath the rocker if all crap from PO putting a jack under it (rust there too). The fenders are toast as well. And more...
i can honestly say that schwarz is fucked beyond fixing, to clean all that up is pretty much pointless. Take all your parts off it and swap asap. The late model looks the goods! just needs a re-spray!

Junking that car, but then again I have more sentimentality than sense about these E30 things. I guess you do what you gotta do, it just seems they both need paint.

Thanks, you mean early model? yeah, if i hadn't found the early model i would've cleaned it all up, but i would never finish
well actually, i take that back. I need the miller cause i eill be turbo'ing and will need long term tuning. if youre not planning on tuning so much that turner chip will give u good results. what is it, like 24hp and lbs/torque.
i really really want the miller maf before i get a chip cause that barn door afm is a big restrictor. are u planning on keeping that?
cause u already have good headers. all those pieces are complimentary as im sure you know...but then again what are your goals for the car? is it just gonna be lowered to look nice on wheels? or do u want it to be a corner shark that surprises 370's in 3rd gear pulls?lol thats what im trynna do
