Good work. How bad were the old rotors? I may be interested.

Right now 14" Weaves, but soon to be running 15x8 TRM's and 225/45-15 RS3's. The TRM setup will be my HPDE/Competition School setup, then I will put the R888's on my weaves for SE30.The Red Dragon V.5 1991 318iS / 2013 F800GT

Wow, I didn't realize you were semi-local. Have you talked to anyone at NASA out here in the SE30 series? I've done one race on the east coast and see a pretty big following but seems out west the series has pretty sporadic membership...
If you need help, I'm in! I'm going this route soon enough so I might as well learn...I'm in Sherman Oaks.sigpic

They were all completely warped and toast. I tossed them.

I'm in about 4k now including the purchase of the car. All I need now is safety gear, I have seats and brackets already. I'd estimate another 2k for car and driver safety gear + 400$ licensing school and I'll be good to go.
I'd say round it off at 7k which would also include the recquired tires. So 3k to go.
Not bad at all I don't think.The Red Dragon V.5 1991 318iS / 2013 F800GT

No need for a trailer! Driving it to events retaining stock exhaust. :)
It sEriously doesn't cost that much. If you do your research and build frugally and intelligently you can easily race for under 10k.
One could spend tons on perfect/fresh spec parts, but I personally don't think it's necessary. But I haven't raced yet, so we'll see how far my naivite takes me, haha. The Red Dragon V.5 1991 318iS / 2013 F800GT

What did you mean earlier about a 4 point cage? I thought you'd want a minimum of 6 points plus two for foot protection.sigpic
DE's are a tease.

Here are some more pictures of the car, so stoked on it.
Stopped by the local BMW Rusnak to talk pricing about a few things. We'll see how those pan out :). No hints. Muahahaha.
Sick Hawk.
I really like this one.
Stoked, as always.
Yuppy, but who cares. She's awesome, loves BMW's, and gets her hands dirty under them too. She's hit the track a few times too, woop.
Pics comparing my dads stock ride heigh 325 to mine. What's hilarious is I think if he took out the spare tire my bumper would fit under his.
Dad's new paint job for $399- it's dirty from rain and the back roads.
Yeah- with my 30 year old ///M of South Africa Jacket (passed down from the Pops)
He's stoked too.
Aw yeah.The Red Dragon V.5 1991 318iS / 2013 F800GT
