one # flocking is about $22, adhesive is about $9, and flocker is about $5.
otherwise buy some thin felt and stretch/cover the dash with that.

Went up to chill with Justin and get some work done on his car today. "Easy" wiring got laid out, and we found a good place for the fuse box. Also got the carbon sun roof filler fitted.

The roof is still a bit bent in...

This is going to be a very bad ass car! Can not wait to see it done.

Thanks Jeremy!! Good pictures and lots of help from you is always greatly appreciated!

Next up I will be making a strip steel bracket to lower the steering wheel roughly an inch. I looked around and don't see exactly what I want to use here. Probably won't happen for a minute till I get home for some parts. That way I can cut the dash for the steering column cover, and properly install the dashand remove our again before I finish painting the tubes.

Made a little bracket doodad to lower the column a smidge over an inch. I mocked up the column cover panels, and made a relief cut into the dash bottom so it would sit properly.

                tada..

Got a bunch of little switches in place, 4 little momentarys for my dash control buttons, 2 for window switches, then above that a black switch for park/low beam selecting, and lit fog and high beam stitches.

                      from email,
Sure. Q pads. But they have limited friction when cold. Nonetheless they make no dust -their strong point. Got the payment. Will finish packing today and ship tomorrow. Lee
Sport bbk and subframe solid mount / riser kit. Can't wait to get this stuff!

My goal to make the picnic is very quickly aproaching a critical, code red, omgwtf status. So little time and my rear subframe is out (waiting for the massive kit anyway). Cast is off but mobility of my hand is nil, and infact less helpful than when it was in the cast. Mostly aches.

I was supposed to get my flocking kit today, but I just checked the ups tracking and it has an exception. Doh! Mechanical failure on a train flat car. Whatever that means for eta.

Finished settling with the insurance and ended coming out with somewhere in the region of 7k for my car all in all.

                          Now to do moar workk..
