Hey guys, I signed up here a while ago and have finally got around to making a project thread, I purchased a 84 323i 2 door December Last year, it came with a cracked sump so I fixed that only to find the head had been warped so I set out on getting a 2.7i in there.
This is my first go at removing an engine and gearbox, installing a clutch and what not, it has been very fun learning it all. The plans for it are something along the lines of.
Megasquirt and Wastespark
272 cam
BC Coilovers
Sway Bars
Wheels: Not sure thinking ESM 002s.
New Bushings throughout
2 way lsd
Then next year when I get on my opens I plan to turbo it.
Here are the pictures.
Full head rebuild, ported and polished, bottom end was checked for tolerences.
Just a new oem clutch.
